Macrolane breast enchancer is injected deep into the subcutis under local anaesthetic. Macrolane VRF filler comes in two formulations that can be injected seperately or in combination to ensure full correction and smoothness of the skin surface. The formulation and volume of Macrolane filler used (either VRF 20 or VRF 30) will be dependant on the individual and treatment area. Women who are considering breast augmentation with Macrolane breast filler will want to be reassured that the implant will not adversely affect the efficiency of future mammograms and/or the breast tissue itself. In one study, mammography after Macrolane breast filler injection for breast augmentation was evaluated. It was concluded that mammograms from these patients were easy to evaluate. Furthermore, routine supplementation of mammography with MRI does not appear necessary in patients treated with Macrolane breast injection . Possible risks and complications

Breast asymmetry correction is a major invasive plastic surgery. When performed by a qualified plastic surgeon, one trained in body contouring, the results are normally very satisfactory. However, as with all surgical procedures, there are some risks associated with breast asymmetry correction . There are also specific complications associated with the procedure. These include: infection, nipple asymmetry and poor healing, which can result in heavy scarring. Infection can be treated with antibiotics and drainage. You can reduce your risks by closely following your surgeon's instructions both before and after plastic surgery. The specific risks and the suitability of this procedure for a given individual can only be determined at the time of consultation. All plastic and cosmetic surgical procedures have some degree of risk.

After care

After the plastic surgery you may be swollen and in pain, which can be controlled by medication. Depending upon the type of surgery performed, you may be remain hospitalized for up to 2 days. Your doctor will give you instructions in your post-operative care.If you feel any severe pain, call your surgeon immediately. Most of the swelling and bruising should disappear within two weeks or so.Your surgeon will let you know when you are ready for exercise. During your healing period avoid drinking alcohol, which can lead to fluid retention and delay recovery.

Results
